Born on May 9, 1975, Hon. George Mireku Duker brings extensive academic qualifications and practical experience to public service. He holds an MSc in Oil & Gas Management from the University of Plymouth and a B.Ed in Accounting from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW).
As the Former Member of Parliament for Tarkwa-Nsuaem and Former Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources in charge of Mines, Hon. Duker has championed policies that balance economic growth with environmental sustainability.
